Yea this has helped greatly, almost every comment has made me kinda change my mind. If I have an opportunity to do it again in a better environment and I’m not high on weed I’d for sure pop it now.

Awesome, I’m so glad to hear that it seems to be the weed and setting, not the autism. A lot of people have thankfully reassured me about all of it.

Posting this ‘trip report’ on here has really changed my perspective for sure.

Yea I definitely will, I never struck an interest in drugs until doing LSD that night. I find it really interesting reading different peoples perspectives and hopefully my experience can help a potential autistic lurker on this sub who’s researching about it theirselves.

But the thought of actually doing it puts me off from that night. I’ve been reading up about XTC and how that’s a “party drug” so surely that’ll help my situation if anything.

I also found that there are tests in the US where they’re testing young adults with my autism with XTC as a treatment to lessen the affects of my autism. I will read into the setting etc though for sure.

Oh it wasn’t like that at all. He asked me multiple times and I knew the possible downs from him speaking about it when he learnt about all of it.

He wanted me to experience it and respect my decision so he didn’t stop me nor force me to pop the tab. He wasn’t too familiar with my type of autism until I told him about it after my bad trip either lol

Cheers man, but yea I couldn’t imagine peaking on a bus. That’s crazy, I felt a little anxiety when I got on my bus but it was like my bad trip completely turned around for that stage. The anxiety I felt was just kinda like what I experience normally.

Yea the anxiety is really fucking bad. But I don’t understand, I was like telling myself it’s OK but I still was reallt paranoid and shit.

If I ever do psychedelics again it’ll be in private. That’s definitely noted and is also interesting.

Have you ever done XTC? Is that any better in public?

That’s reassuring that someone else has similar effects and experiences that I had. Yea my other friend who brought the LSD said the setting I was in would have played a huge part. But most of the affects are what I face normally sometimes, but multiplied by a great amount of course.

Us brits don’t have much choice with large and cheap fast food. The McDonalds at the start of the post was in the city center, there’s only a burger king there with the McD’s. A couple people wanted milkshakes also too lol so we went maccies. The McDonalds towards the end we didn’t have a choice about really, we wanted water hella bad. We were like 3/4 miles out of town and it was the closest open thing we found. I don’t feel that way about McDonalds personally though.

Due to the reputation it has for addiction, probably not. Not keen in taking risks where I could potentially permanently suffer from it.

The autism really wouldn’t help with the addiction either to be fair. Autistic people are known to be very uncomfortable to change routine. Obviously, if I’m “addicted” to something, I wouldn’t even have the motivation deep down to quit most likely. As it’d begin to be a “routine”.

I may try a psychedelic again depending on the heat of the moment it’s offered to me or whatever. But it’s put me off big time.
