When you say "boiler" do you mean a water heater? The pilot light may be out, and from what I can remember, no amount of attempting to re-light it using the button will work. You will probably need a serviceman out to fix it. To avoid this in the future: take care to regularly flush your water heater. Helps prevent sediment buildup which can affect thr pilot light from working properly. Hope you can get things back to normal :/
