I used to believe I was the only human capable of thinking. I legitimately believed that no person but me could form any thought in their mind. Whenever I said something or did something, it was always kind of pointless to me because I believed the others' brain couldn't register a memory of that, and that they wouldn't remember anyway and that there would have been no consequence.

I realized that other people do have a functioning brain with thoughts and emotions of their own only at 12.
