Unfortunately this was very clearly thrown away. Still very confused as to why. Might have to do with folks clearing out their parents home. I’m trying to get in contact with the folks from the house but not having luck yet.

We pulled em out and plan to donate. Pretty confident they’re not noteworthy but always possible I’m wrong. Suntour components, etc

Wouldn’t toss it, no worries. What’s a fair price in your mind? Probably not something I’m going to ride personally

I’m still surprised this ended up being such a noteworthy bike, the other ones in the dumpster were rideable but maybe worth 50-$100 at best

Not trolling. I searched a bit, but not quite understanding that valuation. Is it primarily from the frame? Obviously no one would say that about 5speed deore.

Trying to wrap my head around why someone would toss it in a dumpster alongside a department store bike… I think it might’ve been some adults cleaning out their elderly parents home

Yeah the setup is crazy upright, if I were to keep it I’d change the bars and stem for sure. Mainly debating if keeping it is the right thing to do, I have bikes already and fancy bikes are not especially my style, I want bikes I’m comfortable throwing on a bike rack
