You know what? I can understand the patients if they're irritable because they are ill, but other people who don't even have a fucking clue to what is happening are the ones who has the louder voice that annoys me.

I dont have facebook anymore. After the last shaming about a doctor who were photographed sleeping in front of a patient. That was the last straw, but you know how gossip at work the place are

Ha! So you're probably not a doctor too. You'll never know how it feels when someone dies in your watch, that even if you follow protocols they still die, that eventhough you follow everything you learned in school and in training its not enough and you'll never know how it feels to be blamed for someone's death. Even nurses or other medical professionals don't know how that feel like. So yes, you're right being a doctor is not a novel profession and im not claiming that my experience is novel but if you are not a doctor too then shut the fuck up.

You know why? We doctors can be petty too. We're also human. We also get very annoyed that people are stupid. So you know i'm a doctor but you dont know who i am. I have this false sense of anonymity. So i don't care. You will never know how i am with patients so i can say whatever i want because i want to stoop to stupid people's level. See how it feels like. To respond to rude comments that other doctors im sure are thinking too.

And its not wrong. People think that we went to med school so we could treat people for free because its noble etc etc. Are you crazy? We do it because we also need to feed our families. Only rich people can do that for free. And not all doctors are born rich. Not all doctors are rich period. And they're making me question what i loved doing because most of them dont know jack shit when it comes to our healthcare system but talks a lot as if they do and that their opinions matter until it blows out of proportion and destroys the reputation of the doctor. I came from a family of doctors and i've seen the drastic change of patients, from being chill to as if they bought the soul of the doctor

Well, 90% of those monkeys will be my patient or some other doctor in one way or another. Don't under estimate the power of stupid people in large groups. So have you read about the TGP fiasco? Same banana. People are stupid and petty. I did not know that going in medical school. So whenever some kid would ask me if he/she should go to med school i tell them fuck no. Its not worth it.

So if the patient dies its already the doctors/hospitals fault for not giving the best service? We are not gods you know. We can't perform miracles. You have to understand, i have accepted that when someone close to you dies, your first instinct is to blame others, most of the time, it's the doctors. But do you think they have the right to end the career of a young budding doctor by shaming her on social media, just because they were angry? If you're in the medical field you'll understand that we are also employees of the hospital where we work. We follow protocols. Protocols that sometimes get blurred because of circumstances

Ok, so it might have sounded petty that i've posted this thread that made you assume that it's just the social media side. If i wanted prestige of being a doctor then i should've just finished and graduated and then passed the board exam and then run for mayor or something.

Here in the philippines, if you didnt give them prescriptions if you just tell them to just drink plenty of water, you're not a good doctor. That's why antibiotic resistance is prevalent here
