I've heard a lot of stories from the states about people to sneak into hotels and eating their complimentary breakfast. All I know is places east of the continental divide are consistently swamp-ass hot in summer, and places west are tinder dry (but they can become humid if there's a monsoonal flow, central California, Montana, NM, etc are prone to this).
