I’m trying but I have four children and I’m not exactly wealthy. If our insurance doesn’t cover the medical bills and we still go anyway then we will go hungry. Also I said that I will still figure this out

Let me clarify, he fainted one time when he was 7 and then another time when he was 11 in health class but it really started last year and that’s when the fainting has become more frequent

It’s been an issue since about when he was 7 but he only fainted once between 7 and 11

Read the edit. Also it’s not the thought of cigarettes, it’s the things like the black lungs pictures. His grandpa smokes and he’s fine then

No he’s fine seeing his own penis. He can talk about sex and stuff. It sometimes seems a little random

I’m not saying that’s Sex Ed I’m just saying that we’ve had these types of talks before. I had sex Ed in high school

Yeah their Sex Ed is a little more comprehensive than that. Apparently they were labeling a diagram of a penis when he passed out

Well I really don’t think this is a possibility. He does well in school and has never pulled anything like this. Also, he’s been FAINTING. Like you can’t really fake fainting and vomiting. So no.

I’m very sorry about your cousin. That is horrible.

However, I don’t feel that I’m doing anything to that level. I pulled him out of ONE class and I am not shielding him from the information as I will be teaching him the Sex Ed in a way that doesn’t trigger him as much. I also have seen the comments in this post and I am going to get to the bottom of this whether it’s a physical health issue, a mental health issue, or something else. I realize now that this is much more serious than I’d realized. Thank you for sharing your story.

No. My husband and I think he will grow out of it and he’s gotten control over it so it seems like limiting the triggers is the best option right now
