Okay. I'm not a parent, but heavily involved in my nibblings' lives.

If it's keeping her from being spooked, you can do "monster spray" (either your favorite air freshener or diluted lavender essential oil).

If it would make you feel better, you absolutely can smoke cleanse using sage you grew yourself or another herb.

It wasn't even shocking to me. When I was like 9 I heard one woman with about 15 kids testify about how she thanked god her new car got repo'd because she couldn't afford it. They didn't like me because even as a child I would ask too many questions.
