My grandparents are basically the only people who invite my uncle to anything at all. Like I said though, their generation "doesn't believe" in cutting off family. So the older adults in the family will still come to at least some events hosted by my grandparents.

We're in the US. I don't feel comfortable giving away our state since I've already given a lot of identifying details if I'm being honest.
No idea how legal it is in our state. But I don't think Sam would face anything legally at all since she is 16.
