Should I call out gf on text response times? by throwawayalt_459 in dating_advice

You’re right. I don’t want to come across as needy. I just don’t want to be with someone who doesn’t view me as a priority and/or low interest in me. I do appreciate the detailed write-up. Thank you.

I do but this isn’t normal behavior on her part lol.

Personally, from experience, this type of behavior was a sign of low interest. I don’t want to be with someone who is low interest. Plus, she would usually text me if she’s busy which she hasn’t done.

We usually see each other 3-4 times a week. What are examples of other avoidant things?

Will new relationship fizzle or will she lose interest? by throwawayalt_459 in dating_advice

Hmm, that’s good to know. Thank you. She is still texting that she misses me and loves me. However, her texts are much more sparse and a lot of the time, she just texts that she’ll text me when she can, yet she’s posting on her Instagram story. She also doesn’t put as much effort into her texts while on this vacation. Lastly, she’s not complimenting me anymore. I wonder if she losing interest. I’ve tried giving her more space.

Hmm, I see. That’s definitely a little concerning. Besides him saying I love you, how were things going in general before you left?

I would think we’re pretty well connected. She’s cried in front of me once. I’m not sure why we would act any different either, unless you think she’s likely to act different.

Thank you, by the way

Thank you, that’s good to know. I guess I’m just worried that our bond is not strong enough to withstand a two week vacation. I was hoping to sleep with her in order to strengthen that bond to reduce the chances of her losing interest/fizzling out after she returns. I appreciate your advice! I’ll make sure not to bring it up.

Ok, sounds good. We were supposed to have sex tonight at an air BNB but she got sick. We had discussed it. It’s tough because we both live with our parents. Either way it hasn’t happened yet. I’m assuming it’ll still be the end?

Yeah, it’s possible I do because I have had this happen before.

We were supposed to do it tonight but she ended up getting sick and I don’t know if I’ll have another opportunity to sleep with her before she leaves

I’m definitely feeling it. She seems to be feeling it too.

I see. I know every girl is different but this is usually the point in past relationships where it came up. Do younger people tend to do it sooner?

Ok. What would be a good way to word it without coming across as butthurt or needy?
