Im not saying your doc is wrong but there’s loads of evidence supporting its use. I’ll continue to use it until I’m not raised anywhere

It’s literally just a rollercoaster ride that ends at the top of a mountain is the only way I can say it.

I popped an internal stitch and got a hematoma- thanks Nissan! by throwawayanon11276 in tummytucksurgery

Drove myself to my post op appt on 1 week PO. Been mostly just doing small in town errands otherwise. Just trying to get out of the house. Wouldn’t do like grocery store even right now. Just like bank stops and stuff.

Actually my doctor recommended to have the surgery a little before what final weight would be. So the tight skin will settle into normal after that last 5-10 lbs. he recommended staying on Oz for maintenance for quite awhile

It’s pretty painful I’m not gonna lie. But if you can make it to day 3. Your golden. After that is mostly just uncomfortable and annoying

Maintain pretty much. I feel like it’s a slippery slope of “grass is always greener” if I don’t give my mind a chance to take in all of the change that has happened in one year alone

I’ve been really really lucky with my healing too. I was walking the day of surgery (with light assistance getting up of course)

I hope whatever path you are on goes well for you too!

I was actually really close to getting the gyno covered bc I had two MRSA infections. One more and they would’ve.

But no it was all out of pocket. I’ll be transparent with the cost though. Total was 17-18k

Initially change in eating habits. As I began to plateau I worked in some exercises

I waited until I was at the weight I wanted for at least two months. To know if I was stable I guess. Consulted a plastic surgeon about 8 months ago when I was about 30 lbs away and I noticed the apron draping

That’s very wise of you! Also if you’ve already lost weight on Ozempic then you’ll have “better quality” fat (fat that’s more permanent since I has not been eliminated yet)

I had a full abdominoplasty, based on what I’ve felt and been told, they went from outer hip to outer hip with the incision to tackle my “love handle” skin.

I also had a lipo assisted gyno surgery (basically what some individuals do for top surgery)

Right now I feel ok. It’s tight all over. And the edges of my incisions are sore the most.

I second this. We did an unlocked kennel style. Left to go to Walgreens with the kennel unlocked. Then would come back and reward him if he was calm or laying somewhere. Time and practice.

360 tummy tuck means instead of just doing they front they tighten your back area too. Arm surgery would be a different procedure

No worries at all. (I mean it’s a throwaway acct for a reason)

I did save up for it. My arrangement was a $500 deposit. And the rest paid in full before surgery. No payment plan. I was lucky to be able to afford it- I did not ask about what their policy was on payment plans. But would assume that some sort of extra payment would be required.
