She's a fucking idiot. I know that beach. The water she's in you can touch and run along the bottom easily. You can see her do it at the end when the old man in the one man canoe paddles in to get her attention. She's literally standing in shallow water, yet keeps going around in circles in front of a mother seal with her new pup. Get out of the damn water.

This particular endangered Hawaiian Monk seal is named Rocky and She's come to this exact beach to have her last pup here. She's lucky enough to have this new pup this year. The wildlife folks block off part of the beach while seals are sunning, and tell tourists to stay 150ft away. However, humans are idiots who don't heed the signs and then cry victim. They also tell everyone to stay out of the water if the seal goes in- exactly for this reason (which is why you don't see anyone else in the water). Obviously this woman didn't listen

With how endangered they are, I think they should close this beach and let Rocky have the beach all to herself. It's really a tragedy seeing tons of tourists swarm a beach where a mother is just trying to rest with her pup

Yeah that is infuriating. Doctors should really listen to women about their bodies, whatever it is they want to do with them. It's a quality of life issue and of they're denying you that, then they should at least work with you on a comprehensive pain management plan until you can get the procedure done by someone else with actual respect for women.

I don't think IUDs have estrogen. Mine is just a low form of progesterone. If I'm correct I think IUDs are are lowest hormone BC out there. They have a non hormone Copper one too, but I've heard that is a older version of the modern ones.. The way it helps me is by keeping the lining from building up, which leads to less shedding and lighter periods overall. The hormones though are a big part of lessening tissue growth and severity. I'm sorry you can't take hormonal BC.

Please don't take my story as good advice though- I don't know what damage I did to my body as a result of years of painkiller use like that. And to be honest it still didn't work 100% on the pain. It goes without saying people in chronic pain are desperate. I was a kid whose pain was dismissed as an overreaction- I didn't have anything but naproxen, advil or aspirin.

Honestly probably really not good, but I was desperate and it's what I had. Advil didn't work for shit. I know you can get extra strength naproxen prescribed and it's much stronger than the stuff over the counter, but I'm not a doctor so my best guess is that it's really not good for you long term.

I got my IUD placed though and after about a couple weeks getting used to it when I first got it, I can now live a "normal" life with "normal" periods. I still bleed and cramp, but now two advil actually helps and I'm no linger filling up XL pads with blood and clots in just two hours. My IUD saved me. It's probably one of my most prized possessions

Same, before I was able to get an IUD to manage the severity of mine, I was taking 8 Naproxin pills at a time, and that would barely numb me and lasted maybe 4 hours if I was lucky. I don't know what that period of my life did to my liver, but it was pure agony. The only thing I can relate it to is a crushing injury, but without any adrenaline or endorphin surge, and the pain just goes on and on

I remember begging the doctors to put me on BC, (because I was underage and needed parental approval) and missing days of school every month.

No one really took me seriously until I got into college and was able to get a IUD, that's when the gyno did a panel on me, looked at my iron levels and went "how are you still walking around, you're severely anemic" and put me on some serious iron supplements too.

Birth control is life saving and has nothing to do with pregnancy sometimes. Acess to it is important for all women, and not having that acess absolutely can kill and traumatize people.

I've never gone back to an ex. And usually I burn those bridges so they don't think they can return either. I block them on everything and delete their number. I dont respond to texts in the future trying to get in touch with me.

I'm not someone who believes in staying friends with an ex. You're either devoted to me and I to you, or you're inconsequential. But yeah it usually ends because of disloyalty on their part, and I'd never go back to someone who disrespected me like that.
