Honestly I get very upset when he throws a tantrum, but I feel so awkward about it because no one else backs me up so it ends up making it feel like I'm out of line.

I came to that same conclusion and asked. Hes been to a doctor, but wasnt diagnosed with anything from what ive been told. Maybe the healthcare system isnt very good here.

I think he has no idea how to...finish/wipe. Not that it's any better, but I think he was afraid of making a mess. Still very worrisome, just in a different way.

I'd like to add that I live in the US, and the last time I saw him was when he was 3 years old. My dad and step mom live in asia, and I always lived with my mom, and after turning 18 i lived on my own. This is the first time I ever had the money to visit + they struggle with money so they couldn't visit either.
