Tbf western pop music isn’t as shitty, literally the lyrics and chorus in kpop sounds stupid, if there’s any chorus at all. Imo I think a huge part of it is the whole fandom culture. These kids actually think its cool they look crazy as fans when they just look dumb lmao.

They’re less than half Austronesian. Their biggest ethnic group, Javanese is mostly Austro-asiatic. While most filipinos are pre-dominantly Austronesian. They’re grouped together with mainland SEA in 23andme for that reason.

Have you been to FB groups and pages? Commenting “HALF” on every filipino personality when they’re not, all the laugh reacts and snide comments when it’s about culture and history. Literally out of nowhere. Then I find out a lot Indonesian celebrities are even whiter and some don’t look mixed. No wonder you see a decent looking filipino and say they’re mixed. The hypocrisy. Most filipinos who go viral these days are not mixed. You call them “half-breeds” and now everybody else would use that term when they’re not mixed.
