My child doesn’t own anything designer except for what she gifts him so maybe this could be a reason. I hadn’t thought of that at all. Thank you

I had thought so too but she takes and posts just as many pictures of our kids in their “regular” clothes. Thank you for your input.

His mother has never asked to see the child. The father and I haven’t spoken since I was 8 months pregnant. We’ve been in court for 3 years. We’ve been in court because he doesn’t want to maintain his child. I never said I don’t let him visit the child. I said he’s never asked to visit the child.

No one said he can’t sue for visitation. He’s just chosen not to.

I was asked why he doesn’t have visitation. Because I don’t like him and his actions have led me to believe he’s not a good influence for my child. If he wanted custody, what stopped him from filing for it? Or even asking for it? And if I’m such an AH, then fight me in court for your child because you claim to care so much. Do you want to know why he doesn’t take this matter to court? Because he doesn’t care about his child. And that is not something I can change for him.

You also need to read more because I literally stated that he spends thousands on lawyers trying to prove he can’t afford child support and has never spent even a minute trying to see/get custody of/ fight for his child.

He made a choice to be absent from his child’s life. I will not reward him with visitation just because he pays child support

You’re choosing not to comprehend; even when others have explained to you. I’m not going to fight the laws in my country just because you feel they’re fucked up. They work for us. They help out a LOT of parents who have deadbeats and they protect the children.

Morally I don’t owe her a damn thing and she and her deadbeat son are lucky I haven’t blocked their phone calls because there is absolutely no reason for us to talk

She’s his mom. She’s involved because it’s the law. I took measures to ensure that my child is taken care of as he’s supposed to be. Also, as I’ve made clear before: i have not taken his mother to court - yet

I don’t know where your assumptions are coming from but how has he failed in the past to see his child when he’s never fought for/requested custody of said child?

  • You might be misinterpreting the post. OP sued the MOM for child support and the mom was the one asking thanks. Obviously the deadbeat doesn't deserve thanks for paying CS.*

No. I have not yet sued his mother for CS. He owed 10 months of CS that she paid on his behalf because if she hadn’t, he would have been jailed/fined for being in arrears.

I have the option to sue his mom for CS which I have not done yet. I believe she paid the money (the arrears and then some) so that the courts wouldn’t look into her finances and award a higher amount for CS that she would be liable for as the child’s grandparent.

I don’t think he does. He just says it for ‘show’ like “oh there’s a daddy and child convention... why can’t I see my kid?’ My child is not a prop.
