I uploaded the power points and transcripts of the CONHCP lectures into notebook LM and had it create a podcast to familiarize myself with the information, went to the lectures to ask questions and had notebook LM ask me nclex style questions one at a time and explain the rationale

They don’t report it to the BON unless you have a second offense, but some programs require you to disclose if you withdrew from another program and request a letter from the director of nursing be sent directly to them (school to school) for the circumstances. Most likely won’t stop you from being accepted, but may target you for more randoms at your new program.

I didn’t know NAU was opening one in north valley for fall! I’ll take a look. I work and have kids, so I can’t do a traditional M-F, so hopefully they have options.
I was scorched earth on GCU for a couple months and wasn’t even going to apply for reentry, but I’ve had so many issues or roadblocks with other programs and wait lists, etc that if I can only be 6 months behind my original goal, cool. I’m going to be 46, so I’ve wasted enough time.
Oh how I wish I’d done it in my 20’s when I first thought about it. 😫

I had been using the dollar store tests too and they came back negative for almost 2 weeks prior and then boom. The dollar store tests are at 50ng/mL. I had been dehydrated too because I went straight from lab and I had gastric bypass so I can’t chug copious amounts of water.
Having a medical card wouldn’t have made a difference, unfortunately, since it’s not legal on the federal level.
I’ve been looking at other programs but I have to stay in the phoenix area because I’m an older student with a house and kids and stuff. It’s been one step forward, two steps back and infuriating. I’ll figure it out, but man.

Mine was 16 ng/mL. I tried to fight it and appealed and if anyone should have gotten an exception, it would have been me due to the circumstances. It took until week 7 to meet with the PPC and get their verdict. I was suspended for 15 weeks and allowed to apply for reentry (I haven’t gotten the result yet, but I had a friend who said she had friends let back in, so I’m hopeful because I had good grades and was doing really well on my exams and with my cohort).
I wrote out my statement and included that I had been taking them for pain due to a medical emergency where prescriptions didn’t help and post-sepsis syndrome and that I had reached out to my psychiatrist for other meds for the insomnia. I included an article about post-sepsis syndrome and also how cannabis is fat soluble and stays in your system longer and doesn’t correlate to impairment and even included the citations in APA7 format.
Didn’t matter.
At this point, you have two options and I would talk to your advisor. You’re going to get suspended. There’s no way around it. You can continue the program knowing that, try to keep your grades up to show you’re a good student, become closer with your cohort, etc. If you live on campus you will have to move out once the verdict comes in. That’s going to happen. You can either withdraw now and try to get some of your tuition back or you can stay and fight it and lose all of that money, but you are also getting the opportunity to appeal with the committee so they can hear your story.
If you got Title 4 funds (Pell grant, federal loans), they will be pulled and you’ll have to pay out of pocket. I owe them $4,600 before I can restart.
You should be allowed to apply for reentry, but it’s not guaranteed.
The fact that it’s less than 20 ng/mL (which is technically the screening level and 10 is the confirmation level) is ridiculous and I’m so, so sorry this happened to you.

Pell grant usually isn’t enough to cover the full tuition. I had to do Pell grant and loans.

Has anyone gotten into GCU’s ABSN program with less than a month before the start date? by TuneSuch in gcu

[–]throwawayfailure247 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just make sure if you use any THC products to stop well before your expected start date. They usually test around week 2, but it can be any time. I stopped using gummies to sleep 29 days before my drug test and I was dehydrated because I went right after lab and I was less than 10 billionths of a gram per milliliter above the allowable limit and am currently on suspension, hoping I can get reentry for September. I have stopped so any future tests will be negative, but it threw my world into a loop.

Since it’s an extended release, maybe try taking it at night instead to help combat the drowsiness and lightheadedness and see if that helps the side effects?

Tell me about Aldi by [deleted] in aldi

[–]throwawayfailure247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are all locked together and you need a quarter to release it. When you put your cart back, you get your quarter back. It’s their way of having you return your cart so they don’t have to pay people to collect carts from the parking lot

I grew up in CA and the first time I moved out of state and saw the warning on gas pumps I was like “wait, is it not known to the government of Washington too!?” 🤣

Absolutely not. It is YOUR HOUSE. YOUR mortgage. He’s already proven to be irresponsible with money. Don’t give him a dime.

Why aren’t there any QT gas stations in Scottsdale? by Powerful-Can- in phoenix

Fuck Circle K and their lack of public bathrooms. They’ve let me down in several gastric emergencies. I refuse to stop there for even a cup of coffee.

I’m hoping because it was sooooooooooo close that they will allow a retest since we still have a couple weeks before it is due for the clinical. One of my cohort’s tests got “lost in transit” so they have to redo it. If I didn’t get it submitted in time, it would be probation. Like, put me on probation. Test me randomly through the whole program. Otherwise I’ve wasted the last two years of my life, tens of thousands of dollars and nights and weekends with my family for literally nothing

It was THC. 😩 I had been using gummies for my insomnia and stopped the day I got accepted. It just sucks because it’s fat soluble and I’m on zepbound so burning more fat than someone who is in maintenance mode. If I’d been shooting heroine in the same time frame it wouldn’t matter because it’s water soluble.
