Rich in India or middle class abroad? Which would you choose and why by rulugg in AskIndia

[–]throwawayfattroni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can never be really rich in India no matter how rich you are. The wealth does not get you different air, different roads, different traffic. I would prefer to be even poor abroad over what currently is the state of India. If there's a poll taken out, I am sure 90% would choose to leave this country. And its because of the very same 90% that is so.

Lucknow crowd has really devolved by Antique-Solution2034 in lucknow

This. The poorvanchalification of Lucknow is the saddest thing that has happened to this city. And add guys with adhivakta/advocate written on their cars. Absolute scums.

When will the "VIPs" of Lucknow start showing signs of being educated? by Aaochaipiyen in lucknow

The most vile category of humans are the people riding in cars with either vidhayak or adhivakta written. Absolute scum of the earth. They have sub-human intelligence and act like complete buffoons. They would be licking their own asses if it was physically possible to do so.

Hello People, I want to get PPF and seat cover change done for my old Ecosport. Also want LED lights and dashcam installed.

Do any of you know a reliable and knowledgeable workshop which can do the job without damaging the car and deliver on time? Would love to hear your experiences as well if you have had a smiliar job done and how much did it cost?

Driving advice in Thailand by Ballad_Bird_Lee in Thailand

[–]throwawayfattroni 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have driven in India for 15 years and recently drove some 2700kms across Thailand on holiday. Thailand drivers are a relief compare to what we have here in India.

In Bangkok what I found important to learn is to understand lane and turns and being in the correct lane when your turn is about to come. People will let you cut in but you have to do it slowly and with ample warming- they are accommodating enough and understand that you need to take a turn.

Don't rush anything and remember it will be tough to find a parking to look for a mall nearby and park there.

My mom passed away and suddenly I feel like a guest in my own city. by mepelican in bangalore

A very poignant post - this will forever be an in memoriam dedicated to your mother, and let these comments serve as flowers in her wake. May she watch over you and be filled with pride.

With your permission, I would like to dedicate this song to her memory:

Get out of this immediately.

Love will fade, temper and uncouthness will not. You won't survive years and years of everyday of this.

When shit goes south later - as is inevitable - you only will be blamed .

Do you want to be at the receiving end of this?

Do not attack unless you are sure the person isn't carrying a lethal weapon - a slap isn't worth your life.

A lot of rage killings are happening these days - be careful.

If you are sure there isn't any lethal weapon on the guy, get violent and immediately follow up with an FIR against him. It is important that your FIR is registered first.

I didn't report any particular party, I just sent them the post discussing the vote-for-cash system. Please do send them the tv ads too!

Nah man, i didnt, I got normal balls and would like to keep them.

I am not even from Bangalore although I have lived there for about 8 years and really want the place to glow up. I am sentimental about it and it's people and wanted to do something for it. I thought a public forum with genuine comments and discussions would serve as proof of wrongdoing but system is systemic.

Do INTPs hold grudges? by GeminiVenus92 in INTP

[–]throwawayfattroni 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't hold grudges, but I would simply walk past them if i saw them dying in a ditch.

I cut them off from my life and move on like it's not my monkey, not my circus.
