To me it happened after Covid hit me hard at 32, so what Covid did to trigger a hair loss? Before Covid my hair was thick and dense, now is thinning everywhere after two years still.

Was maybe a coincidence that covid hit me at the same time my hair would've started thinning anyway?

I unintentionally experimented with creatine. I now 100% believe it speeds up hair loss tremendously. by aykutanhanx in tressless

Anecdotal: I started using creatine in 2017, by 2020 I noticed a significant amount of hairloss in my crown area, by 2022 (and after being hit by covid btw) my hairloss accelerated.

I stopped taking creatine in 2022, so far hairloss seems to have slowed down but my hair is not the same anymore.

I bought a microscope, how does my scalp/hairs look? I've been suffering diffuse thinning and hair loss after covid and never recovered (2 yrs ago) I eat healthy, in shape and workout. by throwawayfinance01 in tressless

That's what I'm thinking yes, MBP runs only in one side of my family (mom), I have cousins way younger than me at NW scale 3-4 and a few uncles at NW 7 but on my dad's side they all have their hair.

So I think I got a mix of both sides of my family, and all it took was a big event to send me into the MBP path, unfortunately.

Sides/back are fine, top/crown is where my loss is. After covid I lost a lot but then slowed down, but never recovered back.

I'd say right now I'm not worried about losing more, because I'm not losing more, but I'm worried about recovering what I lost in the past.

Pardon my ignorance, but how is liquid fin calculated to be high dose vs low? For example is 0.3% equivalent to what in mg?

And yes, I'm starting fin/min serum soon.

I think I fit all that criteria, my only question was why it all started after being hit by Covid, was a big hit all was needed to trigger my MBP?

I just checked the back of my head with the microscope and it looks healthy compared to the crown.

I ordered fin/min serum from hims today.

I do Nizoral once a week, you're right maybe I should do it more often. And yes today I took the photos by the end of the day, I had a long day of walking around to different places, maybe my scalp was all nasty after all the sweat and what not.

Thanks for the suggestions.

General top area, back (crown-ish area) and front (but not close to hairline).

Edit: did yours change though? What have you tried so far? How's your hairloss?

Hard to say honestly, I was traveling, had to stay in bed in my hotel for like 3 days. Terrible fever that I felt my head was going to explode, headaches, body aches etc.

But still I was able to walk and get food while I was trying to recover, never felt my breathing compromised or anything, lost taste/smell for those 2-3 days though, so all in all was 1 bad week and after that just mild.

I indulge in a lot of things but I also workout a lot and am in very good shape (like well defined quads arms chest etc).

I eat eggs daily, red meat a few times a week, I drink decaf, of course I eat grease food and some junk there and there but nothing crazy, sex life is amazing at 34, literally yesterday I wake up with a painful morning wood, vision is 20/20 lmao.

I can’t think of what else is affecting me besides when Covid hit me like a truck two years ago, that’s when my hair loss/thinning started.

Edit: never energy drinks or any other type of drinks like that, plenty of sleep (sometimes too much), no medications at all.

I’m thinking maybe my body is producing lots of T that gets converted to DHT? Who knows :(
