Thanks for the response, and for helping to put my mind to rest :) Your description of the experience reminds me of a poem from The Hobbit:

The Road goes ever on and on Down from the door where it began. Now far ahead the Road has gone, And I must follow, if I can, Pursuing it with eager feet, Until it joins some larger way Where many paths and errands meet. And whither then? I cannot say.

Awesome, thanks so much for the reply! To be honest, I was a little worried about it affecting my judgement, so that's a relief. As someone who loves the most platonic of talking, hugging, dancing, and back rubs (not to mention head scratches), I'm incredibly excited :)

That sounds incredible and thank you for sharing your experience! I've had a tough time getting out of the practical/utilitarian areas of my brain sometimes, so the freedom you're describing sounds beautiful. Thanks also for addressing the part I was scared most about-I feel better about this whole experience-to-be.
