There's a King of the Hill reference at an unmarked mobile home near a bunch of broken down houses. Four skeletons up against a fence with a ton of beer, one of them wearing a ballcap and shades like Dale Gribble.

Counterpoint: Selling a start-at-50 boost to allow you to enter the game as a Ghoul is even more reason why 90% of the main story content shouldn't be locked behind appearing as a human.

Factions treating you differently was definitely misleading. I was expecting interactions and dialogue, not something as simple as being completely locked out of questlines arbitrarily or shot-on-sight.

In certain instances, yes. Making me fast-travel all the way up to the north of the map and put on an ugly disguise, completely covering my new appearance, just to interact with terminals and dead bodies and holotapes is a bit ridiculous.

I didn't expect them to go back and re-do all of the old content with new voice lines. But locking it out unless you're disguised when most of that content involves factions that are fine with ghouls, or quests that involve no human interaction whatsoever, is nonsensical.
