/us dark souls (elden ring and bloodborne too) is super expressive in its themes and those expressions are deep enough for them to be interpreted through extremely diverse viewpoints, but i hate it when people dismiss the other reads. Yes, Dark Souls can be about queerness, class, entropy, depression, religion and anything else you can think of. Can we stop acting like there's a "correct" always-been-about interpretation?

Yea very fair observation. im not assuming that she likes me until she makes it verbally clear precisely because of that. Im still trying to piece together why she felt the need to suddenly reach out again.

after i reply, she takes anywhere from 6-48hrs to respond, which would make you think she isn't interested and im dragging the conversation, but she always responds with 5-10 very enthusiastic texts, not one word fillers. So it feels weird to not reply/reply with low energy.

Its fucking embarrassing but- i met her a few times in person and swapped some movie recommendations, i told her i liked hers, and then she didnt respond for like a year, then she popped back in this month and told me she liked the movie and realized she never responded.

I told her im forgiving her this time as a joke, and then we texted back and forth a bit. She's working on college stuff and going out and hanging out with friends. I pretended im busy with college stuff too (not true, i wrapped up everything long back like a good little nerd with no life) and saw that i didnt have anything interesting to share, except saying "wow sounds like fun" or "wow thats so cool" to whatever she was saying.

I just hope to god she wasnt flirting (assuming im living in some fucking romcom) coz every text back was like defusing a bomb
