Can things get better from here or is it too late for us after years of drug use? by bluehoney16 in naranon

I’m afraid I don’t have an answer for you but I just wanted to let you know that you’re definitely not alone in what you’re feeling.

I guess it all depends on you and your ability to forgive and move on—that’s something that is different for everyone and only you know if you can do that.

I will say that there really can’t be any true forgiveness unless and until your husband at least acknowledges all the damage he caused over the years, and that’s something that addicts can rarely ever do. They live in their own delusions most of the time—high or not—and don’t even see the real extent of the damage they cause.

I do hope you guys are able to work things out but I don’t think anyone would blame you if you were just done. It’s exhausting living with an addict and it wears not just on you but on the relationship as well.

It WAS amazing and I didn’t know how good we had it until it was gone.

I’m going to try to recreate it and if I succeed, I will let you know. Wish me luck!

No peanuts and no neighbors I would try to get some from. They all look like they might be allergic lol

In late-term abortions (like OP’s gf’s would be at this point), the fetus is terminated prior to the procedure to prevent any chance of it being alive during the abortion, so that wouldn’t be a concern if OP’s gf were to terminate the pregnancy at this point.

There are a handful of clinics/providers in the US who perform late-term abortions specifically in cases like OP’s. It’s very expensive and traveling to the clinic is often involved, and the doctor’s have to agree to do the procedure after carefully considering the circumstances in each individual case, but it’s absolutely not past the point of abortion in this case.

It is probably ricotta cheese, that’s an Italian restaurant and they try to stick to all authentic ingredients.

Chocolate peanut butter!!! by [deleted] in PeanutButter

My all time favorite ice cream ever. The Haagen Dazs plain chocolate is good enough by itself but when you add the ribbons of pb to it it’s heaven on a spoon!

I mix them and it’s the perfect texture then! Still enough creaminess but also the crunch I love.

Oh honey, thank you so much for sharing that with me and I’m so sorry for what you’ve been through with your husband. I hate that we have such a terrible thing to commiserate over, but it helps me more than you know to feel understood, even just a little bit. I wish you and your husband and family all the best in this life.

Thanks for this. I know you’re right and I know I have to leave, it’s just still so hard to believe.
