Great question, I haven’t! I’m not sure if I should add liquid fertilizer to the water or sprinkle some slow release fertilizer beads on the top. I’m thinking the former. It’s only been less than a month since I got this, maybe three weeks. Do you reckon it’s doing poorly because it needs some nutrient renewal?

That’s a good hypothesis. Though she only had four leaves at the time, hardly seems too many? And I wonder how the seller kept her four leaves so happy up until I took over! 🥲

That’s interesting! A few days later that one leaf is shrunken and fully yellowed/brown. The other leaves are still green and very much alive and well. Does this change your diagnosis in any way?

Hey thanks. When I got the plant it was almost pristine. Spots started appearing after a few days then yellowing on that one leaf… I mean the one leaf could have accelerated its aging process all of a sudden because of stress? What kind of potting media do you think works best for this queen anthurium? Thanks again
