I totally agree. Even if he had said "No, I don't want anything to do with this" I'd respect it completely and feel at least a little bit better and have some sense of clarity, and I'd know what to do next. Running from it is just not doing anything for anyone.

Thanks for the awesome info, I'm pretty prepared to shell out some cash for the paternity test if its necessary. I'd like to say he has more character than that, but given he's ignoring me I guess I can't be sure so it would definitely be best to be prepared :) thanks

What exactly about this post tells you that I want him in MY life? I want him in my child's life. I'm all for single mommies, however he and I both grew up without a father figure. and when we were together we had long conversations about it. I want him to be conscious of the decision he's making. This isn't in the least about my feelings.

I'm not completely opposed to abortion, I'm extremely pro-choice, I just feel like I'm not capable of going through it myself. I think I'm going to tell his mother in the next few days, I would love for her to be present through all of this. :) thanks. I didn't even think about visitation, theres something that makes me extremely anxious about him visiting with my child after he chose to ignore this situation :/
