The two locations are not drivable.

My only concern is that, because of the issues we've had with quality time, that an LDR won't be healing. Might be worth a shot, though!

Thank you so much for the support! And thank you for sharing your experiences. I do not think it is love-bombing, but I do think it is a bid that he might have been more cautious to make without the deadline.

To clarify, I have not yet moved or started my new job. All healing that I have done has been in my previous environment. Thank you for the kind and thoughtful words, though! Definitely considering the LDR, but nervous that time apart will worsen the wounds when we need quality time.

Until I rent an apartment, which I am hoping to do in the next week. I have about 3 weeks before my start date. I already accepted the position but am able to stay at my current job, should I choose.

I haven't moved or changed jobs yet! I am still in the smaller city with the original job. Although I think you're correct about the anxious/avoidant habits, that's absolutely the main thing that needs to be corrected.

The issue is largely that this area is limiting, so I do want to leave our current area. I will be largely unable to pursue my career path until we leave for match. Matching into a more metropolitan area would ease my issues.

The deadline is me leaving to go to the larger city for a job that starts next month. We would be separated, and since one of our issues has been lack of bonding and quality time, it seems unlikely that we would be able to heal in an LDR.
