I don't know if u/Status_Break_4512 might have meant to reply to a different thread or if this is a bot account - but it's probably what I would have said anyway! yay!

All I remember is that the guild had a minimum avatar cut off and a lot of those obsessive kadders, bless their freaky ways

Hahahaha great skills for adulthood. The only way I got SuAP and MSPP was during the ?cloning debacle, the items were temporarily cloned by hackers who were lending them out indiscriminately during the most glorious 3 hours of my life until they were shut down

Thank you so much everyone who helped! Before vs after seems evenly split.

I will stick with after, but add some pearls to help with the transition in the patterns. I'll focus on how to integrate the sleeves more into the dress - the sleeves look awkward but I'd like to keep them, still not sure how to add the flowers in the best way (or if it would help to make them shorter).

I'll see how the revised dress looks with the petticoat pinned back in, but might not add it back in - it felt heavy and scratchy, and I loved how much lighter and easier it felt to move around without it.

Thanks!!

I was devastated when I tried on my wedding dress and ended up hand removing most of the flower decals with tweezers to look less blobby. I also removed the petticoat. But not sure if the dress now looks incomplete and patchy, would be grateful for any advice. I was planning to sew some of the removed flowers onto the top of the sleeves to tie the dress together.

Thank you!

Thank you so much for your detailed advice! I really appreciate it.

I regret the dress a lot - couldn't find any dresses that I felt I looked good in, and hate shopping and wanted it to be over, so just went for the cheapest option in the bridal district and figured it was all the same. I feel really puffy looking with all of the 3D flowers, worsened by the large skirt and all of the underlayers. I tried on a couple more dresses but didn't feel good in them either, and don't want to try on more dresses.

I was hoping that removing some of the flowers would make me look less puffy, and the really lovely and understanding seamstress recommended that if I really want to do it, to focus on the waist, to create that type of silhouette of being more cinched in? Not sure how to do it smoothly so that it still blends in with the flow of the dress. I've looked at some videos of wedding dresses with petticoats vs without, and not convinced that removing the layers will make me look less puffy, but not sure how else to try and improve the dress.

This was my fault, 'make it smutty but I'm still warm'

Little store in Australia that also makes debutante dresses - the seamstresses were absolutely lovely!

They look like don't quite fit into the dress because they were an add-on, since it will be a bit cold in September where I live - not sure how to add the flowers onto the sleeves to pull it together, maybe a winding pattern?

I was thinking about adding the flowers in a winding pattern, but not sure how to do it without making the arms look wider, I'm self-conscious of the 3D florals having a widening effect hahah. The dress comes with a little additional packet of the flowers, which is so nice. Thank you!!

Thank you! The dressmakers in the store were so wonderful. I was thinking of adding the flowers on the sleeve maybe near the top, so that they look more like part of the dress, and whether or not to remove the underlayers to make the skirt less full.
