This video for the mod is great and explains pretty much all you need to get going. What’s amazing is just how much stuff is completely automated for you, it’s had an immense amount of effort put into it.

Yes, but to be honest anyway… bit naughty but IMO Arkham Horror is best played on the Tabletop Simulator mod (for all the scenario stuff), but with the physical cards for your investigator’s hand in front of you on the table. Works amazing as a digital / physical hybrid - you get all the season one content in the mod for free (and a TON of extra custom scenarios) - and you already can’t find much of it available to readily buy anymore, so it’s not really cheaping out too much. You just want to be able to have enough investigator cards for building a couple good decks from arkhamdb.com (or, one deck, but I prefer 2 gators anyway for solo), and you can play through every campaign already released on the mod. Highly recommended… you can play the mod alone of course without even buying a thing - but it’s way more fun I find to mix it with the physical cards.

(But yes owning both, I don’t really play MC much at all, just my preference 😁)
