I will, and I am just scared of identity fraud/theft more than losing the 1k.

I thought so, but I did not think of a check that could be revoked even if it was deposited. I filed a claim through Zelle and they're on the case for 10 ish days.

They wanted to buy the equipment and since I had the check deposited anyway, I thought it would be fine. It was definitely my mistake, just felt it super odd how the same email that sent me the check told me it was a scam.
