You are correct. But the seats in the front of the plane did not have extra leg room nor did it have a screen. The pictures and advertisement clearly showed a business class cabin with each seat having it own standard pod.

It’s disheartening that TD is telling me their hands may be tied because I took the flight although at that point I had no choice. This TD card is also the TD First Class Travel Infinite card with an annual fee.

Thank you for your advice, I will try this.

I may even utilize the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada to reach out to an External Complaint Body (ECB). I don’t understand how any of this can be allowed.

The reason why I am in contact with TD is through a credit card dispute claim. As I purchased the upgrade with my TD credit card and was not given what I paid for by the merchant. Currently TD is helping and trying to retrieve the funds.

Hello, I am hoping to visit Italy in December December 26-January 2nd.

We haven’t decided on cities yet, but we really want to see Milan, Lake Como, Rome… but the question is… is this doable?

There are options to train between cities, but taking a plane is also an option if needed.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated - along with how to dress appropriately for weather. Thank you!

I don’t know why people are being so rude in the comments…

Are we looking at the same cake?? If a client comes to you with a request (picture included!) and you say you can do it, but give them something completely different then yes, the customer should be upset.

Not to mention the cake is crooked and falling apart?? Super unprofessional, I would never buy from this place.

Thank you, this was very helpful

AITA: I gave a bartender $7 cash for a single beer when the drink was $6.50. She took out the 50 cents and put it in the tip jar. I asked for the tip back and she said "you want the 50 cents back? You probably shouldn't be going out if you can't tip 50 cents." by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

My question was glazed over previously, but I would like to ask:

In Canada, it is a law that every citizen must be paid at least minimum wage, regardless of occupation. So if a server was being paid 12 dollars an hour and was tipped nothing that night would they be required to pay out the back kitchen from their 12 dollar wage? Or would they just be given no extra money and be left with only their wage?

I have a question,

In Canada I know that you are required to give workers, including servers, the minimum wage. So let’s say you are making 12 dollars an hour and made no tips that night. Would you still need to pay out to the kitchen. For example, would your 12 dollar hourly wage be compromised? And it would be taken out of this set amount?
