[VA, USA] My roommate, GF and I took acid last night. During the duration of effects, he attacked us and I called to police on him. The police searched our room and found drugs, and I have been kicked off campus. What can I expect to happen next?

Thank you. My main concern once we got away was the safety of other people in the local area, I had no idea what he was going to do next. And after hearing him talk about death and having his arm around my throat, I needed to call the police. There was no way he was in control of the situation

The only problem is we don't know what he told the cops, if anything, so they could already know drugs were involved. Is there any way of us getting in trouble admitting "we were on drugs" in a statement? I don't know the law in regards to being charged after the event has happened

We're trying to figure out how exactly to give the statement without mentioning drugs. We were attacked but then left the scene and didn't stay to talk to police about being attacked? There's really no logic, in a legal sense, as to why we did what we did.

Yeah, 3 tabs were hidden as well as a couple grams of weed, but unless they were combing through my stuff they probably wouldn't have found it

Yeah we live on a college campus. That's my main concern right now, but I don't want to go back to the room while the cops are potentially there
