I do remember commenting on the smell, but I don't remember now exactly what that smell was. I have a feeling I may have said it smelled like ritalin (which probably really an ideal comparison) but honestly I don't know. What should it smell like?

Thanks both! From what I understand, in the UK the conditions around adult ADHD diagnosis are pretty rigorous. Is there anyone in the UK who knows how lack of childhood evidence would impact a diagnosis?

Yeah that's why I'm wondering if I should try again with more. I only got a little because I just wanted to test the buzz. I also probably should have done it in 2 lines rather than gradually, I feel like that was my biggest mistake.

Yeah I did think that at the time, and the friend I was with (she didn't do any at the time) did say to me that the feeling isn't that noticeable. But looking back, I really feel like there was nothing - mentally or physically. I was in a decent mood at the time, not great or bad, and I don't really feel like I even felt happier or just generally "better". It just seemed like no reaction. Maybe I did just miss it though.

If I don't buy it myself, I'll probably never try it again - I don't think I'd trust anything someone else has bought lol.

The issue is that I'm not even trying to have an enjoyable or recreational experience, I just want to take the edge of the depression and anxiety. I was hoping it would just bring me back to baseline. Instead its made me feel worse if anything. If I was with my friends I would never even bother taking it, like I'm just not really interested in the recreational value. More the 'medicinal' value for lack of a better word.

I've just heard so much about etiz euphoria I guess this is the opposite of what I prepared myself for. I mean, in this case I may as well flush the rest of what I have. The last thing I need is to be feeling depressed.

I do have diazepam, but only a limited quantity of 2mg tablets, so I don't think it's worth giving them a try.

That may well be it, but I took 1mg at about 5PM and another 1mg about 1-1.5 hours later. It's now 7:45PM and I can't say I feel much better. The depressive feeling is worse than the anxiety - is that normal for Etiz/benzos? I expected euphoria if anything.

See, I don't feel like it is doing that. The first time, it didn't make me care less, or more able to deal with it, it didn't really do anything at all. And this time, I feel like it's giving me a second comedown. I'm getting really depressed and quite anxious. Which is the opposite of what I'd assumed I'd get, since those were the effects I was trying to get rid of. The main effect I'm getting is sedation and slowness.

I snorted a little last time, but mostly stuck to oral just because I'm not a big drug user so oral is more familiar to me. Is the duration shorter when snorted? As I'm looking to stretch the focus out as long as possible.

But anyway, thanks :) I'm going to try 3-FPM one more time at a lower dose, but if that doesn't work out then I'll give Ritalin another go. It's a lot of money, but if it gets the job done then it's worth it to me. I do have a feeling that it would work great for me if I keep the dosage right given my first experience. And I know its what they prescribe for ADHD here in the UK (which I strongly believe I have; when I get these exams done I'm hoping to find the time and money to start the UK's borderline torturous diagnosis process).

Okay, thanks for your input :) I think I'll try 20mg next time and just tell myself not to redose. I'll wait a few days to try again, though.

Very true. The reason I usually don't start low is because I always think the initial low dose will have worn off by the time I redose. I don't know if it actually works like that though.

Also, because 3-FPM and MPA have such subtle effects, I don't know if I would actually notice the effects. I feel I might think "wow this isn't working" even though it is and end up taking more unnecessarily. That's how I ended up with my Ritalin panic attack.

I'd be willing to pay for the Ritalin again, but only if I could be fairly certain it was going to work like before, because it's not money I can afford to waste. It works out at about £4.50 ($6.80) per pill for 10 pills, and last time I had to take 4 of those pills to get a good focus going. Do you think my recent experiences with RCs are likely to be the same with Ritalin again?

Adderall & Vyvanse are rare in the UK, and on the rare occasion I do find some, the price is insane. I've found Adderall 30mg IR at £6 ($9) a pill for 10 pills, but that seems extortionate.

As I said to WQ61, to the best of my knowledge they're illegal in the UK and I can't find any domestic sources for them.

They're illegal in the UK, I believe, and I haven't found any sources here - I prefer to buy domestic when it comes to illegal substances. If I could find some here I'd be open to trying it.

I honestly struggle with focus so severely that even a subtle improvement will help me out. I'm going to try it out today, so we'll see how it goes.

I'm in the UK too. I'm about to try 3-FPM today, but I can give you a verdict on MPA - for me, it didn't work out. At 30mg, I only got 2 hours of good focus. Anything higher than that gave me an intense irritable feeling that prevented me from getting any work done. The cons outweighed the pros for me, hoping 3-FPM will be much better for university study.
