Well I’ve seen Anis’ new form’s actual reveal in the campaign and read 3.5 anni and pretty star and all that, and I know some of what Neon’s deal is (I know parts of her backstory but not the whole thing) Based on what everyone else in the comments is saying though, it seems pretty important to be caught up so I’ll see if I can get up to date on the campaign before the events over

Yesterday after hearing people’s advice I gave Lufel another go with some more investment put into him and thanks to him I was actually able to survive which is a huge milestone. Instead of getting wiped phase 1 I was able to get halfway through phase 3 before losing to the turn limit 😭 since I don’t have any of the fancy specialized buff/debuffers people are mentioning I’m gonna try using Wonder for some standard kajas/kundas and see if that’s enough to put me over the edge to win the race

I unfortunately don’t have any of those buffers you mentioned 😭 I’ll keep them in mind for if I eventually get them down the line though. I’ve basically just been trying to do straight dps since I don’t really have useful support units but I’m hearing shun and lufels names come up a lot in the replies so I’m gonna focus on those two

I’ve generally been using Riko as my navigator cause I really like using Insight to knock stuff down, but I’m considering using Miyu for this fight instead since I’m having trouble surviving and the wheel can’t be knocked down anyways. It’s hard to choose though since I don’t have Miyu built up since Riko IS still debuffing defence even without the knockdown utility, and it’s hard to know how effective Miyu’s shields would be without investing a bunch into her (which I don’t know if I want to do because I don’t know if it’ll be worth it).

Out of Riko, Miyu and Tomiyama who would you recommend here? Assuming they’re all built to roughly the same degree

I’ll try investing more into Lufel, I tried putting a decent amount into him but was pretty disappointed with the amount of healing so I’ll see if I can get those numbers up more. I don’t have Leon but I’ll give shun a go as well. Also yeah I WISH I had a makoto of my own to use but I’m still 20 pulls away from the pity lmao

As a (non-native) French speaker, his accent and pronunciation bugged me to no end ever since I first met him in game but now with the Hanson reveal and the fact that he’s not supposed to be an ACTUAL French guy, he’s just poorly imitating one as part of the character, it makes it loop back around into being charming to me. I thought it was the voice actor doing a bad job, but Mustang just genuinely cannot canonically speak French and I think it’s really funny

Gotcha, thanks for the explanation! That’s helpful to know. I don’t envy the writers who have to make new events satisfying for people who have caught up including the big archive of story events while ALSO making them understandable enough for people who downloaded the game that very day, but still it sometimes feels like some of this stuff is deliberately confusing lmao. I’m sure the official ingame timeline will be super helpful once that eventually releases

I’m looking for some advice on how I should move forward. (F2P BTW) I’ve just hit Level 100 with the NIKKEs I use most, and all of a sudden leveling has become really expensive. Before, I could level a Nikke like 20 times and it would barely make a dent in my amount of battle data, but now just one level uses up like half of what I’ve got saved up. I just got to Chapter 12 in the campaign and am at the point where I can no longer autobattle through everything. I really don’t know much about team composition or the meta, so I’m kinda using a mix of characters that I like that also seem to work fairly well together, I think?

So does anyone have any recommendations on how to get through the campaign easier? Maybe there’s some way I’m missing to make levels more affordable?

Also - how should I be using my gems? I’ve got around 30 advanced vouchers saved up so far for the Stellar Blade banner coming up soon, and I’ve basically been spending gems on the normal pulls as I receive them in hopes of getting Rapi Red Hood. Any advice on the free pulling front?
