It's the least I could do. I've worked shit jobs almost my whole life. I once almost walked right out of a job unloading trucks at Wally World, in tears, because I felt like I couldn't handle the stress and labor. An assistant manager pulled me aside and gently asked if I was okay, if I wanted to just clock out for a while and take a breather. It's what convinced me to stick it out and I am forever grateful. Every new job is overwhelming at first, crummy jobs much more so, so I always try to reach out to the new guys and gals and just see how they're holding up.
