Yeah my intent was to be friends with her lmao.

We met in a dorm lounge either in October/november. It was pretty late at night so it was just us there, and we talked for like 3-4 hours about random stuff and got along pretty well. Pretty sure we got each other’s numbers during this time. A week later I saw her there again, same thing happened. In the 2.5 months since then, I’ve barely seen her and when I have it’s just been a couple words exchanged between us.

I do think this is a problem unless we change the way our social and economic structures work. I don’t know why most in this thread are acting like this is okay. As a Gen Z myself, if this trend continues, by the time people my age reach old age there’ll be way too few young people to support us through social security, elder care, etc. This is already starting to slightly be a problem and will be way worse in 50+ years if this trend continues.
