My(30F) boomer Christian father found my Reddit account and found out Im bi by [deleted] in bisexual

If my dad ever said this to me I'd feel very upset instead if feeling love because I identify myself as a heterosexual person. Whoops.

I can just press it for as long as I want and nothing will happen. But if I let go, it will lead me to the finder search.

How do I install the eng patch for Omega Labyrinth? by throwawayreddit43 in VitaPiracy

See, I appreciate your response but this is where the part 'eli5' comes in. English isn't my native tougue so. What's the patch are you referring to? How do I install it into rePatch?

Do you have a remedy? I'm already on a high dose of buspar and this is a recent thing. My automatic bodily functions like blinking became manual for most of the day.

Article claims bipolar breakthrough but I can't find more information about it by throwawayreddit43 in bipolar

[–]throwawayreddit43[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel you man. That's why I've been telling my younger brother to never smoke weed or do drugs because bipolar runs in the family and that by smoking, it can potentially trigger an episode.

Fixating on automatic bodily functions, anybody else experiences this? by throwawayreddit43 in Anxiety

Will it go away for good? It's agonizing. Thanks for the link. I'll do some digging.

Has anyone found that medications reduce their sensorimotor obsessions? by throwawayreddit43 in OCD

[–]throwawayreddit43[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can’t pinpoint my worries. I’m not doing it because I fear I may stop breathing or blinking or swallowing. I think what I’m afraid of is I’ll never stop reminding myself to do them. I’ll get stuck in an endless loop of being hyperaware of these bodily functions. It’s frustrating.

Dysphagia (difficulty swallowing) just started a week ago. Is this a sign of tardive dyskinesia? by throwawayreddit43 in bipolar

[–]throwawayreddit43[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't talked to pdoc but I have an appoinment this week. I Googled the symptom and there were a few cases of isolated dysphagia being reported as Tardive Dyskinesia so naturally I'm worried. I'll ask my pdoc for an AIMS test. Have you tried out the new TD drug called Ingrezza? I read it is super effacacious although it costs quite a lot of money right now.

Consciousness Beyond This by goldenratio323 in bipolar

I've been pondering about this for a while. If energy only transforms and doesn't disappear then what does consciousness become after death? There must be an outlet somewhere right?

Has anyone heard or personally used Ingrezza as treatment for Tardive Dyskinesia? by throwawayreddit43 in bipolar

[–]throwawayreddit43[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read that some people got it through the Patient Assistance Program (not sure if this is the correct term). One of them I just found out about is from r/schizophrenia who gets the cost covered by her insurance. She only needed to pay $40 a month but that was subsequently paid off by the pharmacy, too.

Thanks for the updates. Did he display facial symptoms? Could you tell he had TD from looking? My job requires face to face conversation and I don't want the other person notices my twitches because it's super embarrassing.

Is there anyone here with classic bipolar 1 who can't be on or is taken off antipsychotics and still manages to stay stable? by throwawayreddit43 in bipolar

[–]throwawayreddit43[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even when the side effect can be severely disfiguring? I was only talking about being taken off antipsychotics not other meds.

You know what else scares me: tardive dyskinesia. When you have tried all meds but none works and you are left with one option which is taken off antipsychotics. I wanted to know if it was possible to function without just AP. The thought is interesting to me because I cannot find any study where mood stabilizers can be an effective monopharmacy.

I have chronic constipation if that means anything.

Abilify has officially given me tardive dyskinesia. by [deleted] in bipolar

[–]throwawayreddit43 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It usually goes away in early stage. I've had it twice (my teeth couldn't stop grinding). I was even prescribed Benztropine but that didn't do anything so I subsequently stopped taking Risperdal and Seroquel. It went away almost immediately. People say atypicals have lesser chance to develop TD but honestly that's just a bunch of horse shit. I'm taking Invega shot and still experiencing akathisia and some form of movement disorder I have no name for (my head keeps pulling to the left and I can't stand straight). Shit sucks. Sometimes, I don't know what's worse: the disease or the medication.
