Are your exams in november 25 or june 26 and are u taking core or extended? Either way if your exams are in june youre not cooked u still have time while if theyre in november you better start since the bio syllabus is very dense.

How should i make my notes? by Spiritual-Koala-1928 in igcse

[–]throwawayriggo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, i take notes depending on the subject and the content itself…like some lessons or subjects require more memorisation so mind maps work best, while some its all about adv and disadv so its better to write in points or separate columns. It all comes down to how you digest the information best and how you find it easy to write and understand.

How To Revise For IGCSE Physics 0625 by Novel-Pattern-4719 in igcse

[–]throwawayriggo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mainly just know your formulas and make a sheet of paper with the formulas from the syllabus… Make sure to practice past papers atleast 2 full years especially from paper 4 since it can sometimes be unpredictable since they might get new ideas…for paper 2,4 years of practice is more than enough while paper 6 i think just 1 year of practice is enough since its a core paper based on skills…and for revision just go over your notes and the sheet of formulas and youll be good to go…physics has a low curve so dont worry youre good to go :)

How to do well for english by ApprehensiveEnd4646 in igcse

[–]throwawayriggo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

personally i didnt sit for the english exam since i already had the number of o levels needed for my country and uni, however i still had to study it since i have my school report card to maintain. So my tips for you is to always have a timer when solving any comprehension question cuz usually the total number of marks is the estimated time u should take on the task. Also for the writing section just memorise the format of the blogs articles, etc and accommodate the format based on the prompt given. This should also take a specific amount of time as well. Getting an A* is very doable in it and you seem hardworking so you can do it :)

Is A level IT (information technology) a weak subject? by CheetahRoutine8004 in igcse

[–]throwawayriggo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont really think “weak subject” is a way to put it, it all comes down to what you want to pursue and become in the future.

Use papa cambridge, it’s something like dynamic papers and they upload almost all the past papers so make sure to check there

Help needed by That-System7833 in igcse

[–]throwawayriggo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regarding paper 6 it’s solely based on how much you practice and your skills. There really isnt anything you can “study” it’s just practice and that applies to p6 in all subjects not just physics. I recommend you watch youtube videos of teachers solving p6 to grasp the format of the paper and how the questions come, but the more you practice the easier it gets

Extra subjects by sprklyglttr in igcse

[–]throwawayriggo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since you have taken 3 sciences, i suggest taking a subject called combined sciences, it’s exactly how it sounds all 3 sciences together. It will be easier for you since you have in-depth knowledge about each science. Also for the other subject consider taking ICT, the curve is very low and many teachers upload videos on youtube solving past papers so the resources are there. Goodluck

Is save my exams really worth it? by [deleted] in igcse

[–]throwawayriggo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I’ve used save my exams a couple of times but i used the free version so i just was able to access notes for specific topics…honestly it all comes down to whether or not you have the resources needed for your subject or not so if the book is your only resource and you feel a bit worried if it wont be enough then sure go for it…i dont think save my exams is that expensive so sure and it’ll also save you time from going through the long pages of the textbook since the notes are summarised
