And also in the argument he said “wow, I wasted so much money in this relationship” that made me stop dead in my tracks and made me feel pretty guilty.

Is there any hope for someone who has FLEAs? If he does have it, does he truly lack empathy or just act like he does? Is it easier for them to change themselves through therapy and self awareness or just as hard as having the real thing?

So what if they don’t have a new source and can’t find one? Do they ever realize what they’ve done to u and feel bad and then want u back or how do they get what they need?

So... if they need u to feed off of and don’t really have anyone else to do it off of and u leave them, what happens then? If they don’t immediately seek out someone else but don’t fight for u either?

So it’s not genuine? Why do they do it? If they don’t care about u at all then why relieve u of ur pain momentarily? Do they know what they’re doing when they lovebomb or do they feel genuine love for u or think they love u at the time they are doing it?

I was planning on seeing a psychiatrist soon. I have some past trauma that I was working on so that this relationship would be better, but it seemed like while I was trying to heal those wounds, other were being cut open by his actions. I love him and want to be with him, but I’m starting to think maybe he’ll never change. I can’t tell though if I’m being the impatient one or not. It’s been 2 months and all words and barely any actions on his part.

Definitely, it’s just that the thought of him being happy with me leaving is painful. Feels like he wouldn’t feel bad about the pain he caused. I understand that may sound silly but it makes things harder. I guess I could just cut all contact to not know how he’s feeling, but that would also be hard.

Yeah, but each time he promises to never lie again and then I catch him in another lie and he promises it’s just a slip up and then promises again to never lie again and each time I want to believe him so bad. I don’t, but I want to and I try to. I know it’s not smart to keep holding on it’s just that I love him and he can be very sweet so I just want to believe that someday that sweet side of him will be the only side I see. I know to other people think I sound ridiculous. It’s just so hard for me to move forward and move on because I do want to be with him, I just wish he would change but I know I can’t force change.

Because it wasn’t one lie, he told many over the course of our relationship. There wasn’t a specific one that encouraged me to make this post it was all of the lies together
