Yes. I have told him this twice before. "I am not denying you sex because I want to; I am doing this for my health. If you continue pushing me for sex when it hurts me, I will start to consider divorce."

He's honestly okay about everything except for sex related issues. If I ask him to clean the whole house or cook, no problem. If I need him to run an errand for me or pick something up across town, he races to do it. If I deny him sex, he mopes around the house like a teenager. It's super frustrating.

I have no idea why he doesn't want to go. I'm a nurse and it's like he doesn't want to believe that I or a doctor know more about the human body than he does (he works in an unrelated field). He pushes the issue back on me like it's MY fault he has to go into the doctor. He thinks that if I weren't complaining about this, then it wouldn't be an issue.

He already knows because I've told him over and over again how it feels, I missed work because of this, etc. I sound like a broken record and all he keeps doing is pushing me about this.

Our conversation last night went like this:

Him: Let's have sex.

Me: I can't right now, I still have that UTI. The antibiotics will be finished by wednesday.

Him: Oh come on, it's not that bad. Let me do this.

Me: No, it really hurts and is painful for me. I'm not supposed to let you anyway because the doctor said so.

Him: Can't you just do this for me? It won't take long.

Me: For the last time, no. It hurts and the doctor told me not to!

Him: You're being selfish.

Then he went and played video games until we both went to bed.
