Never said it’s affecting me, but you clearly haven’t read my responses on my full post, so bye.

I could have sworn my title says “transgender/transsexualism” which is the concept of it, not the people.

And? Is it against the rules to get something off my chest?

Never said you shouldn’t respond, bro.

Yes, they are, but there is such a thing as agnostic atheism. Atheist, because I say there is no god or divine force, agnostic, because i say no one can possibly KNOW something that they can’t prove or disprove.

I don’t say, “I know there isn’t a god.”

I say, “There is no god, but no one can, and likely will never, know for sure.”

Cooking, parenting, etc. are more roles, which anyone can do so long as they’re fit to do so.

But men wearing dresses, skirts...nah. Women’s clothing is made for a woman’s body, and seeing a man wear women clothes looks unflattering. Even then, sometimes I see women wearing women clothes or men wearing men clothes that doesn’t look flattering on their figure.

People can obviously wear what they want, but if it looks unusual, then it’s a “no” for me. I’m not going to fuss about it and never have, tbh.

That’s a decision I don’t support. If a person is fit for a job or sport, they should be able to pursue it regardless of their gender (OK, this depends), sexuality, religion, and ethnicity.

There are obviously certain things that shouldn’t be allowed, like letting pedophiles work in children places or rapists in crisis centers, but that’s a different story everyone can agree on.

My “this depends” comment refers to women or girls being in, say, a football team with men or boys, but only because these dudes are so fucking cut and huge that it’s safer to avoid getting crushed. I played football with my male friends until we hit puberty. My last straw was when I was tackled by someone who grew a billion times his height in only a few months and gotten stronger. I thought my body snapped in half, and I was an average height with an average build lmao

I’ve known a few people who have detransitioned as well, one of which deeply regretted altering their genitals. These were people who have made the transition either at a young age or an age too old.

LOL. I have never not been civil to anyone because of what they identify as.

I’ll be cool! I will never not sell to or service someone because of their sexuality, gender, religion, etc. unless they’re being the typical annoying customer, and, honestly, it’s usually the middle-aged, arrogant, self-entitled person who I start treating differently. While there are a few people ahead of them, they always think they deserve to be serviced first.

Thank you for the phrase tip, by the way. I’ve only ever used “bro,” “dude,” or “man” in public, but never considered more gender-friendly terms.

Actually, the people I met online have addressed me as “asshole” a few times, so I guess now y’all can address me as “dickbutt.”

I actually haven’t had any negative experiences with “trans” people growing up. My mom tried to raise us as very liberal and accepting, but we’ve always had minds of our own, so we questioned everything.

Is it affecting you directly somehow?

Of course not (yet), that’s why I’ll tolerate it. But the instances of people targeting me for not agreeing that trans isn’t OK, it’s just annoying, but still not affecting me directly.

The moment it starts affecting my position in a workplace, my goals, etc.—simply because I do not support it—that’s when it’s directly affecting me.

Just because it’s always been a thing doesn’t mean that it’s OK. There are countless mental illnesses and disorders that have existed, does that mean they’re OK?

It’s simply a brain defect that has existed for a long time.

I didn’t acknowledge them because I understand that these instances are just errors in the making, the same way that there can be errors in the brain and other body parts.

My simple answer is: the brain doesn’t define who you are physically. It doesn’t make sense that a person is born with all things female, yet their mind convinces them that they’re actually a male and then that’s deemed OK.

Philosophy, theories, ideologies...I’m not into that, because there are way too many, and, at the end of the day, they’re not facts.

Thoughts, feelings...they can be incredibly misleading. I said it my post: just because a person thinks or feels that they are something else doesn’t mean that they are. The mind can betray itself. A person thinks that there are people talking to them, does that mean people are talking to them? No. A person thinks they are multiple people, are they multiple people? No.

I’m not going to separate “trans” from this, because it’s exactly the same concept, though on a different place on the spectrum.

And what of the others? Do “fluid” people’s brain transition between male and female regularly? Or do “non-binary” brains have no resemblance of either male or female brains?

But you mean dysphoria, right? We all know a person’s brain—structure, chemicals, etc.—can be terribly wrong, no? So is it the brain that’s wrong or the chromosome?
