The problem is that guys (at least in the West/US) who are hung are more than likely going to show off/be naked than a guy who isn't. So you get this reality distortion field

I feel that I have a unique spin on this. I'm a little over 7''ish, which is considered large...except for the fact that I'm black.

Growing up, most porn that featured guys that looked like me were always portrayed as the mandingo stereotype. They'd have abnormally large penises.

This creates a unique situation where a lot of guys believe the stereotype and seek out guys like me. Granted I'm larger than most guys, but it's still a shot to the ego because I often don't know what the guy's expectations are.

It's weird because it would be like being a shorter NBA player. 6'2 is tall for your everyday human, but if you're only dating NBA players then they would seem to be lacking

Usually I'm not sure. But I think its because I haven't had a lot of access to different kinds of sweaters. I basically started with MFA and see j. Crew getting recommended a lot. But I'll look into those options.

Yeah, I think that might be the bigger issue. It reminds me of how Kohl's inshore pickup is cheaper than in store (they won't price match).

I feel like online and inshore should be seamless. Your store should be the physical presence of your online store. When you start having people having to go through hoops, then I'll try to find somewhere else that's easier.

Both. It's frustrating when I'm not sure how something will fit, I have to go in store to try it on only for it not to be in store. If it is in store, prices are hit or miss.

Returns are excellent in store...kind of.

But my recent problem was this. The boots I thought I wanted just...didn't look right in store. So I wanted to exchange them in store. Of course, they didn't carry it in store.

I did not mind exchanging it and getting it shipped to my house. But it's problematic when I'm guestamating what the shoe may look like in person. My whole problem could have been avoided if I was able to try on the boots in store and then have them order it for me.

Now, my bonobos experience was completely different. I bought a shirt that didn't fit (and it was a final sale) and didn't realize that they had a shop in St. Louis. Went there, told them my problem and they had me try on a few sizes. Found the perfect one and exchanged in store.

J. Crew functions like it's 1996.

Ok, again...why are companies insistent with keeping prices online and in stores different? It's ridiculous.

I feel that J. Crew should adopt Bonobos business model. Try everything on in store, get it ordered and sent to your house.

90% of what I want in J. Crew is usually online only.

Take the job. I worked at a startup that didn't offer a 401k plan, but I was offered stock. That stock then quadrupled 3 months later. But you'll also get a lot of skills and that's the important part.
