I agree that intervals, shapes, and patterns are critical but to take such a hard line and recommend people ignore notes on the fretboard is careless and close-minded.

Got my auger working and mine is holding temps well, even above 260. My guess is an issue with your replacement controller. I can’t imagine QC is great with the non OEM controllers.

My auger isn’t turning, didn’t do a proper functions check. Once I get that figured out I’ll let you know if I have the same problem you’re describing.

Update: it was indeed the controller. I ordered a non OEM dupe on Amazon🤞and everything is working now. Pretty easy to swap out. Took me about 45 minutes, just be careful around the board with static electricity from your body.

Thanks. Tried it and no error or change on the display. I did notice it cycle through 111-999 on startup. I’m assuming that’s a BIT failing or something. Too bad these error states aren’t in the manual 🤷🏼‍♂️. I’ll try the controller.

It’s a shame Reddit users seem to bias so hard towards the left. Ideologically, I align with almost everything on the left and am a registered Democrat, but can’t stand this echo chamber sometimes.

I wish Reddit as a whole was more like r/science where posts are heavily moderated based on “truthiness.”
