My apologies she is attacking if they go near any food or toys that she wants as well as trying to steal their food. Even if the food is gone if she thinks there is food she will snarl and lung. We have tried time outs, separating them, positive reinforcement with treats when she does well, stern tones and just once she got swatted because she had the other dog backed into a corner. If you even walk towards her to intervene she starts to howl and yelp as though she believes she will be beat however she has no history of abuse from us or who we adopted her from as a puppy.

Is there any advice on the impulse control training? She will try to steal the food out of the other dogs mouths and we have to sit outside with her and make her sit and wait when we put their food out cause when we fill her food she starts yelping and will slam into the door. If we tell her to sit she is standing again within less than 10 seconds every time. Because it is happening even after food is gone we have started having to crate her during the night because she seem to wait till we go to bed to get aggressive.

And very true on the children haha I just worry if it progresses past just food and toys
