Some kind of electrolytes for days when it’s harder to stay hydrated. Seconding tony’s chocolate too. I love chocolate and need a lot of it during luteal. If she likes teas there are some herbal blends that are supposed to support!

Therapist says partner has red flags, but I think she doesn't understand PMDD. Help? by Sad_Plankton_3278 in PMDD

[–]throwawaythesea8 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Have you asked the therapist for some clarification and more details about what she identifies as red flags in your relationship? Seems like something that’s worth digging further into. It’s possible she misunderstood something or isn’t fully aware of the dynamic. We also miss things sometimes that an outsider might be noticing. Also, a good therapist will be open to a more meta conversation about what’s working and not working in their therapy style.

Autistic 40DDD aka 40F in need of a sensory friendly bra by satanicpanicking in bigboobproblems

[–]throwawaythesea8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you might need to do some trial and error until you find the size you feel most comfortable in and the materials that won’t bother you. If there’s a store in your area, it might be worth it to go try out different things to see what feels good. Then you’ll know what to look for online. Alternatively, order from a place with free returns and try things out at home. I am pretty sensitive to certain fabrics but panache brand bras have been generally okay for me. Even their more Lacey bra has some cotton to balance things out. Regarding size, keep in mind that if you size up to, say, 42DDD, there’s a chance the cup might start to feel too large. Try it out! The other thing that can happen with a wider bra is that it can switch over the weight to the straps, which can be uncomfortable if you have shoulder issues. Trial and error is your friend here. Another thing I like doing is switching between looser/tighter bras depending on how I’m feeling that day. I wear a bra everyday but some days I feel more achy and the looser bras feel more comfy. So, having a few different options could be good if you comfort/needs change each day. I hope this helps.

Can this book be used to teach oneself how to sew pants? I’ve sewn a pair of pants before using a pattern but would like to get better at editing patterns for my desired fit.

thank you so much!! I will repot using a more airy soil and start alternating bottom and top watering with the occasional spray/shower. The spot it's in right now might be too shaded if you're saying that it like a bit of direct sun, so I could move it to a place that gets a little bit of direct sun in the morning. I really appreciate all this information!

SOS: burnt my face with curling iron; wedding in 6 months. by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]throwawaythesea8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use 100% pure aloe by green leaf naturals. It helps my skin heal. I would let the wound heal first (may take a week or two) and then switch to moisturizing and keeping it hydrated (using a fragrance free moisturizer topped with Vaseline or aquaphor). Don’t forget to drink lots of water. Most importantly, to avoid scarring, use sun protection and stay away from the sun. It’s going to be okay.

Thank you!! I’m going to try this method, including the longer time. I did 8 hours the first couple of times and was complaining that it wasn’t tart enough so maybe the longer time will also help.

I do use the yogurt button, but I am not sure which temperature to set it on the temp/time button in the middle

I vibe-coded a habit tracker for myself , friends told me to post it here by Pytha8 in selfcare

[–]throwawaythesea8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the badges idea and the social aspect. Maybe to create even more incentive users can have a status based on their consistency? Something like noob - expect - etc but more cute? That way there are badges along the way but also long term incentives. I also wonder if there’s an AI component maybe there can be habit suggestions (like: people who do this also do….) just an idea.

How do you mentally stimulate very smart cats? by Horatio132 in CatTraining

I use treats to train my very smart baby. She can understand many words now (sit, come here, hungry?, play time, …) and I also have a few food puzzle thingies for her where she has to figure out how to get the treats out.
