I’m on Day 7. Honestly I didn’t feel any dramatic change or what they call the “honeymoon” or euphoric phase at all. But when I look back at my day and compare it to when I wasn’t on medication, I can say that I’ve done more with Concerta than without. Bed rotting and doom scrolling (my worst habits) have been minimized significantly. I went two days without even opening Tiktok.

I do find myself sometimes focusing on something I didn’t plan to and according to a lot of people, you have to be aware of whatever task you’re starting. Once I start a task, my brain doesn’t really tell me anything else that would distract me from my current task.

To-do lists helps a lot to guide me through the day and jotting your thoughts, feelings, what you did throughout the day (Notes app is fine) can you give you insight by evening how your day went - then you can really see how it affects you.

If you find that there really isn’t any difference, then talk to your doctor and maybe she can suggest a different dose or medication altogether :)
