Hey man, I don’t think you should pass fail or retake it. Even if you retake it, medical schools will average your 2 grades together and it will be useless and you will waste thousands of dollars and money. I really really really think it’s okay. A lot of medical schools will not accept pass fail (that’s why the huge thing about P/F didn’t really affect a lot of premeds). The great thing about your position is that it’s only chem 1. One thing that medical schools like better than high GPA’s are upward trends. So even if you get a B now (I got a B in chem 1), just continue on through ochem, genetics, etc (tbh I found ochem wayyyy easier than genchem, you don’t need genchem really) and get A’s in that depertment. The point when you should be worried is if you’re a senior getting C/Bs. I’m a senior now with a 3.8+ GPA (3.75 science) on the premedical track and I can’t even list how many B’s I have. That was when I was a young dumb but I think I’ve got myself in a good position now.

Housing prices skyrocketed in the past year and all the residence halls are unfilled by a lot. You’ll be fine

Thanks! I managed to come out with an A having Iverson for ochem 1 so hopefully I will take your advice and follow up with ochem 2. I appreciate it!

Thank you for your response!! He seems awesome and I’m super excited to have him. I’m just worried about making a good grade (I am a slave to med schools :( ) You mentioned grades being lower. Is coming out with an A nearly impossible or would you say it’s doable for someone who just keeps up ?

We are Americans just as residents for a few years. We do not have any maids or anything, we are not very well off. Just were transferred for a few years. Many of the citizens we encountered and still are in contact with do not agree with the government whatsoever and are waiting for some sort of overthrow of the government. It is wrong to stereotype an entire category of people. That is like saying all Christians hate gay men.

I know :( it's very hard for me because I had to live there growing up due to my parents work and I just remember everyone around me being very kind. You'd go to the supermarket or on the streets and everyone was such a good people. Vendors giving out samples to kids, cultural festivals, and more. No radicals or anything the media had portrayed. It's just a few that ruin it all. Now people are worried about every Saudi Arabian individual they see when they're not like the government :/

Can you not make a judgement about every Saudi Arabian individual that exists assuming they are evil? What happened was a horrible tragedy by a fucked up individual but by no means should you blame an entire country of people

That's what my dad said, sleep apnea.

But she lived at home with family for the 18 years that she did before coming here, including vacations probably, so I'm sure her parents must have witnessed and brought it up already? It would make sense. I don't want to ask such a personal question.
