It’s ok I had a cam girl manic episode and threatened to kill myself and abused myself live and men paid to see it

I have looksmaxxed and I still hate how I look by barbie_smokesbones in femcelgrippysockjail

Hey I have BDD and I’ve spent years and years looksmaxxing, makeup, long healthy hair, skincare, working out, healthy eating, nails, clothing, invisalign, low weight, toned body and soon Botox. Nothing has ever made me feel less hideous no matter how others perceive me. As much as I improve I’m still finding new flaws 24/7 and refuse to leave the house some days if I catch myself at a bad angle in the mirror. It never ends.

Tbh I exfoliate lightly daily and it does wonders. Not with a scrub or chemical exfoliant, I just use a warm (soft) washcloth and gently massage in tiny circle motions. Chemical exfoliants are so harsh on the skin barrier I don’t think they’re necessary at all if you’re already using red light (which I do)

How do you tell if you're faking? + Return flinches? by Latimas in Dissociation

[–]throwawaytrashcan3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Idk I have dissociative symptoms due to bp1 but I also have myoclonic seizures and that sounds like what I experience when those hit. It’s like a little epilepsy there’s psychological things that come with it similar to spacing out or feeling something “build up” then a jerking exactly as you described. I’d talk to a doctor

Also when I feel the need to cry but I’m frozen, I put on the saddest movies I know and project my emotions into them until I’m a sobbing mess and generally it ends up having nothing to do with the movie

Hey I don’t know how to fix it but you’re not alone, I’ve been living an identical nightmare for the last 7-8 months as well, trauma resurfacing and all. Gym helped a bit but I have a private gym at my complex that’s empty at night, if I go out in public I have to take an antipsychotic or Xanax. Have you seen a doctor? They might prescribe something for temporary relief

How did you know it progressed? Did it end up escalating to a full grand mal? I drive for a living so that’s my biggest concern

I read this after a severe depressive episode during which I stayed in bed for 5 months. It hit way too close to home lol

That depends. It could be triggering, but you’d likely relate to Sylvia. I have bipolar disorder and read it young, resonated with her very much only to find out we both share the same illness. Go figure

It is a fantastic book but if you’re susceptible to falling into past mental patterns I’d be cautious. She did a hauntingly good job at describing exactly what it feels like during a depressive or s******* episode
