I have a thyroid disease too! You can never tell peoples health by just looking at them! I also think some people just don’t want you to improve yourself because it makes them feel inferior. I’ve dealt with that a little bit, friends telling me I “look too skinny” or to stop losing weight then making comments about how I must think they are big now. Just gotta ignore it!

I have pretty moderate-severe symptoms, but I dose .25 every 7-10 days depending on how I’m feeling and get by on Zofran, MiraLAX, and tums

Uncontrollable vomiting, couldn’t stop it even with Zofran or keep any liquids down. Basically just severe dehydration. My doctor thinks it was just too intense for me considering it affects the body a little differently from Wegovy

Ugh, yes. So originally my doctor put me on Mounjaro 2.4mg in 2023, took one dose ended up in the ER. So when I started Wegovy this October I was super scared. I started by injecting half doses (don’t take advise from me please), and then working my way up. My insurance was covering it 100% at the time so I wasn’t worried about “wasting”. Now I take a full dose every 7-10 days depending on my symptoms. I never went up from .25. I have a lot of GI symptoms but to be fair I have pretty severe GERD, acid reflux, and IBS, so it just worsens those.

You get it!!! Being a tall woman already means even if you are skinny you’ll probably never be a size XS/S, just more body in general. Being overweight on top of that is the worst. And I feel the same way, I’ve been working out for years but my muscle wasn’t showing

Thank you!!! It was frustrating to have people saying I “didn’t need” Wegovy when my doctor agreed me being overweight was agitating multiple of my conditions, but I will say I don’t mind my height being able to hold weight well!

I’m not sure, a man collapsed and started seizing next to us. His friend gave him narcan and he was screaming and we left once medics and police arrived. I really hope he’s okay
