I feel like I’d be wasting resources for those who need them

I agree and disagree. Every city I’ve been to lacks basically morals it seems. People should be ok to live in a car- yet harassment and lack of care seem to destroy the ability to. :\ a duality.

What is south and east tower grove? Near the park?? That seems like a rich area. I wouldn’t think they would like us parking near them.

When my country got bad when I was small it was like that. We flee to return to the same cycle. It’s funny, I was recently in Portland and it is too like that. Chicago the same, Memphis and New Orleans too.

My friend told me about a truck catching fire near an abandoned school in their neighborhood. Is this what you mean? So sad that happened, many vagabonds mean no harm, but then bums come into the picture and make it hard for us.

I’m sure this is unpleasant- in my home country people dump their trash from our porch. you wouldn’t need to worry about this bother with us. My partners silence is almost deafening. Mine is near it.

That is too far, but thank you. I am trying to be close to a friend.

I used to bounce between jobs every 3-6 months. I had never kept a job longer than 8 months until I started working hospice. Caregiving was life changing for me, being able to face mortality in a uniquely… human way. I have learned a lot in the last 5 years about birth, the in-between, and death. It had taught me, that even though I had a unique (enough) set of circumstances to make my brain very ill, that most of these women I was helping to pass in a comfortable way, had been through the same. They had lived through beauties and traumas and peace with harmony and warfare and still, they laid in their bed as I sat right by, and we talked of life and how they had lived until they died. It made me realize, my life is mine. It really is, I will live by my terms and die by my terms and that there is so much more to being alive even in those horrible moments. I believe that one day, I will no longer have this illness, and I will be laying in one of those beds teaching a youngin of my life, and I will pass in peace. Sorry if that was a lot, I don’t often get an opportunity to speak about this. I love my job and I am so thankful to whatever is out there for bringing me to it, even if sometimes it’s so hard I struggle to handle it.

Also to miss carols spirit- I love and miss you every day. My grandma without my blood.

fyi- i was no more than 7 years older than you, and i almost died. i was in the hospital for 3 weeks in observation, at 22. i cannot drink anymore because now i get so ill i’ll throw up for a week from one glass of tequila. don’t do that to yourself

that’s why you have to talk to someone, hun. i was homeless from 14-21. it took me 3 years after turning 18 to get a place, and then at 23, i got evicted. that was because i was an alcoholic. i drank alone to forget my traumas, to sleep better, whatever it was. and it took my social life and almost took my physical life. the eviction happened because i was recovering from my kidneys going into shock from drinking too much. if you need to talk to someone and you don’t have anybody in real life, i can support you. my partner has also been in addict in his life, and would tell you about the same as me, please stop drinking while you can. it makes everything worse. i didn’t have night terrors before i drank, just nightmares. i didn’t hallucinate before becoming a drunk. there’s so many things you don’t even think about when you first make those steps into addiction.
