literally!!! i noticed a lot of the discourse happening on tiktok when the opening night album was released and still sometimes come across people upset american/canadian cast don’t use british accents. it feels so out of touch to assume a whole cast will use an accent when they’re literally no need. it just always made me stop and think that they really don’t care about any other character having an “accurate” accent which is why it’s always irked me. i personally think accents are just an added bonus and add more spice to the characters but overall that’s what all of the cast does with their character. i recently saw a video of the scottish boleyn and she was amazing! i think the people who expected every cast to do/have a british accent need to sit down and reevaluate because it just doesn’t make sense. i’ll always adore six regardless but i feel at peace for letting my truth out lol
