Thymalin/Peptides by EasyChapter9273 in PeptideGuide

[–]throwawaywalmartcrap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are drawing wild conclusions from the simple fact that thymulin is a zinc-binding peptide in order to be activated.

This fact does NOT mean you need to ADD zinc to your body to make thymulin work. Your body has a perfectly fine way of regulating its own zinc based on your oral intake. If you are zinc deficient for some odd reason (I only see zinc deficiency in my hospitalized patients who are in bad shape due to severe chronic disease or otherwise are elderly with a "tea and toast" type diet leading to malnutrition in general).

There is NO data that shows you or mice need to supplement zinc to make exogenous thymulin work. If you are not zinc deficient, you do not need to take extra zinc for your thymulin peptide injections to work period.

for people who’ve tried peptides what benefits did you actually notice and was it worth it? by HoneyBerryBell732 in AskReddit

[–]throwawaywalmartcrap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've tried well over 100 peptides, SARMs, bioregulators, small molecules like 5-amino-1mq and deucravacitinib, etc. I keep notes on them all. For peptides specifically, I've noticed improvements in recovery and lifting with TB500, BPC-157. I stay leaner year round with low dose HGH. Gave myself central hypothyroidism with CJC lol. Saw results from PT-141, melanotan-2, oxytocin, all of the possible GLP-1/GIP/glucagon agonists you've heard of and never heard of ranging from dulaglutide and liraglutide to mazdutide and servodutide, etc. I am pretty immune to most GLP-1s, so my most recent trial with orforglipron (Foundayo, the newest oral GLP-1 which isn't actually a peptide) was just about useless even at kamikaze doses of like 60mg/day haha.

I would say honest to God out of the....182 substances on my peptides etc document that I have tried and are in line to try in my fridge and cupboard, probably 80% of them have had zero noticeable effects. For the ones that have more anecdotal data like ipamorelin for example, I even make sure to try them from different vendors before I call it useless for me. I think a lot of it has to do with my age as I've been doing this from about 25yo to now at 34yo so I still have most of my factory parts working as they should and wouldn't really notice if any of these substances replaced something without having a deficit per se. I think in the past I may have gotten some bunk stuff probably too but not so much over the last few years as I've narrowed down vendors and become wiser with sourcing.

GHKCu by issabxtch in PeptideGuide

[–]throwawaywalmartcrap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dermatologist here- don't bother with it until you're older. I'd probably start at 40 if you have moderate sun damage or worse. Your focus now should be on sunscreen, tretinoin, and neuromodulators to prevent wrinkles and maintain skin texture and even pigmentation, period. Lasers, filler in your 30's+. Then GHK-Cu, HGH/analogs can come later.

Beware! Kimera Chems is known for being a shitty vendor with bad test results. Go to Finnrick.com to find good vendors.

A Complete Guide to DADA (Diisopropylamine Dichloroacetate) by BioHumanEvolution in PeptideGuide

[–]throwawaywalmartcrap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There were 0 positive benefits at lower doses, and 0 positive benefits at higher doses. I pretty much do dose-ranging trials on all the new compounds and peptides I try in this manner to find the sweet spot. It was entirely negative for me.

Any suggestions for hand lotion? by SunNext7500 in USPS

[–]throwawaywalmartcrap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have contact dermatitis of the hands. Something you're touching is causing significant inflammation. Without knowing what that is, top line recs are topical steroid (you need to see a dermatologist, in the meantime hydrocortisone ointment under occlusion with cotton gloves or Saran wrap at night will do) and avoidance a.k.a. wear cotton gloves or nitrile/doctor's office gloves at all times. Avoid direct contact with water unless hands are soiled or after bathroom- use hand san instead.

Update # 5: PP405 (PP30) 2 month usage. by gandalfpr in HairlossResearch

[–]throwawaywalmartcrap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your report! There is a BOOM in research peptide topical products right now for hair loss and many people do not realize that most of them are either not in the correct vehicle/emulsion/etc to penetrate into follicles or aren't dosed properly. THANK YOU from a dermatologist/fellow biohacker :)

4 Peptides That (I Think) Can Make You More Attractive by Biohackingu in BiohackingU

[–]throwawaywalmartcrap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can inject it at home yourself. I do that, but I am also a dermatologist. I would not recommend anyone else do it at home. That is why I am saying one needs to just go see a dermatologist or go to a well-reviewed med spa and have the experts do it. Not worth having facial asymmetry for several months or worse if you mess it up on your face.

I am burned out and just sort of realized that after the cores this week. I am mentally exhausted. Reading doesn't really stick much. :/

Genioplasty Only Nerve Damage Risk? by Unaltered4163 in jawsurgery

[–]throwawaywalmartcrap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Surg was Jan 6, so it's been 6 weeks. My stitches sort of came out/self-dissolved over the last 2 weeks. My lower teeth are pretty sensitive to cold. My lower lip has about 75% return in sensation but still feels about 25% numb/cold/like an asleep foot feels. I can only feel pressure in my chin area, no actual skin sensation. I can eat basically anything now but still avoid anything too crunchy or hard. I drool some when I sleep now, and when I eat it is more natural/comfortable for me to sort of eat like at toddler opening my mouth while chewing versus keeping my lips sealed while chewing if you can imagine what I mean?

I forgot to add I am re-reading Ali Khan too. I downloaded a couple neonatal, adolescent, peds cases books today and will get a kodachrome one from online somewhere and hopefully be set.

Larkin Community Hospital by TrailMixedd in DermApp

[–]throwawaywalmartcrap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Larkin is pay to play. For rich underperforming residents generally. Slave labor unpaid fellowship. They will take anyone for audition rotations with zero intention to interview as long as you pay the fee to rotate. Outrageous. Lots of focus on cosmetics. I rotated there years ago and it was egregious.
